Aquarium holds dragon dance underwater for Chinese New Year celebrations

A dragon dance show took place underwater at an aquarium in southern China’s Hefei to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The footage, captured on February 13, shows two divers holding two colourful Chinese dragon puppets as another one carries a ball to guide the dance of the puppets underwater.

The body of the dragon puppets was made of steel to resist the pressure at 19-feet under water.

Dragon dance is one of the most important traditions nationwide in China for the celebration of Chinese New Year.
