Elton John, who was a very close friend to Princess Diana, has cancelled two gigs in order to make sure he can attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

And we think that’s pretty awesome.

The 70 year old pulled the plug on two of his Las Vegas residency concerts at Caesar’s Palace, so he can either attend, or even perform at the upcoming nuptials.

Funny thing is, it’s still not confirmed he’s even invited.

But the musical icon is making himself readily available.

When asked last month he admitted he hasn’t been asked, but it would be nice to be invited because he loves Prince Harry very dearly.

Elton was a guest at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding at Westminster Abbey in 2011, and before that he famously played Candle In The Wind at Diana’s funeral in 1997.

Fingers crossed that Elton’s invite is already in the mail…
