Gujarati trend Continues with Sonakshi Anushka & Kangana

Gujarat has caught the fancy of Bollywood as a batch of Hindi films are either based in Gujarat or have Gujarati characters in them. We had seen many actresses including Deepika Padukone as aggressive Gujarati Chokri in “Ram Leela”, Kareena Kapoor Khan in “Chup Chup Ke” & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”. Actor Sonakshi Sinha, soon will be seen playing a Gujarati fashion designer, Jinal Patel in the film “Welcome To New York”. The trailer of the film is out, in which Sonakshi teams up Kurtis with bindi and accessories. Anushka Sharma also played Gujarati character Sejal in ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ opposite Shah rukh Khan. Her Gujju accent in the film totally nailed it. Next up is actress Kangana Ranaut, who took home the National Award for her leading role in 'Queen', played Praful Patel, a divorced Gujarati girl, living in the US in her film “Simran”.
