2019 Lok Sabha elections, Modi Government presented its last general budget. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has raised custom duty on imported mobile phones from 15 to 20 percent while presenting the general budget. With this, the imported smartphones will now be more expensive than ever before. At the same time it has been told that cashews will now be cheap.

2019 लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले मोदी सरकार ने अपना आखिरी आम बजट पेश किया। वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने आम बजट पेश करते हुए इंपोर्टेड मोबाइल फोन्स पर कस्टम ड्यूटी 15 से बढ़ाकर 20 फीसदी कर दी है. इससे इंपोर्टेड स्मार्टफोन अब पहले से ज्यादा महंगे हो जाएंगे. साथ ही ये भी बताया गया है कि काजू अब सस्ते हो जाएंगे।
