Viking Marchers Carry Torches and Replica Longboat at Fire Festival

The festival of fire in Scotland, also known as Up Helly Aa, saw hundreds of people dressed in Viking garb on January 30 marching through Lerwick, Shetland with burning torches.The festival is held every year on the last Tuesday of January and remembers the Vikings who sailed the seas around the Shetland islands 1,000 years ago, according to the BBC.
