பாலிவுட் நடிகர் ஷாருக்கானுடன் ஏற்பட்ட தொடர்பு காரணமாக ப்ரியங்கா சோப்ராவுக்கு பெரிய பட வாய்ப்புகள் வருவது இல்லையாம். பாலிவுட் நடிகை ப்ரியங்கா சோப்ராவுக்கும், ஷாருக்கானுக்கும் கள்ளத்தொடர்பு இருந்ததாக முன்பு ஒரே பேச்சாக கிடந்தது. இதனால் ஷாருக்கானுக்கும், அவரின் மனைவி கவுரிக்கும் இடையே பிரச்சனை என்று செய்திகள் வெளியாகின. அதன் பிறகு ஷாருக்கானும், ப்ரியங்காவும் பிரிந்துவிட்டனர்.
