Australia Day Sparks Protests in Brisbane

Thousands of people marched in Brisbane, Australia, in protest against Australia Day on January 26.Media reports said around 3,000 people marched in Brisbane in solidarity with indigenous people.Protesters went from Queensland Parliament house to Musgrave Park through the central business district. Many of the protesters had flags and signs and banners with slogans including “Land Rights” and “We are Still here”.This video shows large crowds marching and chanting with Brisbane’s central business district seen in the background.
