Now to the developing news,...
A hospital fire in Miryang, a city in the southeastern part of Korea, has killed over 30-- and injured many more.
For more on this, our Shin Se-min is on the phone with the latest.
Se-min,.. this still is developing as we speak,... but I believe the fire had been put out relatively quickly ?

The fire, which first started at around 7-30 in the morning, had been put out in around two hours.
Still,... despite the fast response by the local fire department,... the number of casualties is high and is likely to rise in the next couple of hours.
This is what we know,... the hospital fire has so far killed 33 people and injured 70 others at Sejong Hospital, in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do Province. ... Ten of the injured are in critical condition.
The blaze is suspected to have started in an emergency room on the first floor of the main building of the hospital,... and the firefighters at the scene were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other floors.
But despite the fire department's efforts to contain the fire,... the death toll has been steadily rising,... as the hospital also contained an elderly ward where there were some 90 old and weak patients.
And as there was this fragile group of patients at the hospital,... the number of casualties is likely to rise.
The fire department however have confirmed that they were able to evacuate the admitted elderly patients.
Officials dispatched to the scene are still searching for possible, additional casualties within the building.

And Se-min, the government officials were fast to react,... with the top office convening an emergency meeting this morning.

Yes,... and Mark we also have to understand,... we've seen this sort of incident before.
Just last month, 23 people died from a fire at a sports center in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do Province.
And yes,... President Moon Jae-in convened an emergency meeting with his top aides over yet another tragic fire-- let's listen in-- this is the top office's spokesperson just moments ago.

"The president said it is regrettable that there's a possiblity of more casualties,... though the fire had been contained quickly. He urged the necessary medical treatment for the people rescued."

The president also ordered the Prime Minister to get to the bottom of the cause of the fire.
And we know that the safety minister Kim Boo-kyum is on the scene in Miryang to oversee the emergency response operation.
