6.4 magnitude quake in Indonesia kills at least 14, injures 162

A powerful earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Lombok early on Sunday,... killing at least 14 people and injuring over one-hundred-60.
The U.S. Geological Survey says.... the 6-point-4 magnitude quake hit the popular tourist destination just before 6 a.m. local time,... at a depth of seven kilometers.
The epicenter was some 50 kilometers northeast of Lombok's main city, Mataram -- far from the main tourist spots.
Thousands of homes have been damaged by the earthquake and more than 60 aftershocks that followed.
Local authorities are still searching for the missing people,... and trying to determine the impact of the quake... which means the number of casualties could increase.
