Auckland Zoo Welcomes First Flamingo Chick to be Flock-Raised

Auckland Zoo said on Thursday, January 25, a flamingo chick born to its hand-raised flock was thriving after its birth earlier that month.The zoo said the chick was the first to be born without assistance and in front of visitors, and would also be the first to be raised by the previously hand-raised flock, which was carefully brought up by zookeepers.
