Congress President Rahul Gandhi attacked the Narendra Modi-led government for halting the mega park project and thereby cutting down employment among youth in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district on Monday. Gearing up for the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Congress bastion's Amethi earlier in the day. Here, while criticising the Modi-led government, Rahul said that the government has failed in providing fair prices to potato farmers by halting the process of Food Park in the district and surrounding areas. He added that this has also resulted in low employment among youth of Uttar Pradesh, which the Centre had promised in there many speeches. A mega food park that was supposed to bring investment to UP and give employment to 40,000 youths in Amethi and surrounding districts, had been halted by Modi-led government.
