Israel Destroys Mile-Long Hamas Tunnel

According to CNN online on Sunday the Israeli military announced that it has destroyed a mile-long tunnel that stretched from Gaza under Israel and into Egypt. Israel accused Hamas of housing the Islamist group responsible for all actions emanating from Gaza. The destroyed tunnel was said have run under the border crossing and was allegedly used to transfer goods from Israel into Gaza. For this and other reasons noted the Israeli military made the decision that it would destroy the tunnel.
