After South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first they were bundled for 286 runs in the first innings in just 73.1 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was on fire as he picked 4 wickets, more importantly removing the dangerous Hashim Amla early on in the game. India got off to a dream start in the 1st test match against South Africa thanks to a superb bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar .
