India restricted Sri Lanka to 205 runs on the 1st day of the 2nd test match. The visitors elected to bat first after winning the toss but kept on losing wickets at regular interval. For India Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma were the pick of the bowlers as they allowed the Lankan batsman to settle in the middle. For Lanka Karunaratne and Chandimal were the top scorers hitting 51 and 57 runs respectively. For India Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja picked 3 wickets each while R.Ashwin picked 4 wickets.
