The first lien was filed Tuesday on Strip gunman Stephen Paddock’s house in Mesquite. $213.73 The lien is for unpaid water service. The Virgin Valley Water District filed the lien with the Clark County recorder's office. Officials noted that even if the gunman were "alive and in jail and hadn't paid his water bill," the lien would have been filed. Paddock, 64, carried out the deadliest mass shooting in modern history on Oct. 1, killing 58 people before apparently killing himself.
