Central Illinois Sees First White Christmas in Seven Years

Central Illinois saw its first white Christmas in seven years, as a snowstorm barreled into the area on Sunday, December 24. This video shows a snow blower clearing the runway at Decatur Airport.The snow began in Decatur early Sunday morning and stopped in the afternoon, but temperatures plummeted to well below freezing to keep the white stuff on the ground.
