Miss America CEO Suspended Over Leaked Emails That Disparaged Contestants

Following significant backlash over leaked emails in which he insulted several Miss America contestants, The Miss America Organization has suspended CEO Sam Haskell. “The Miss America Organization Board of Directors today voted to suspend Executive Chairman and CEO Sam Haskell. Mr. Haskell, in support of the organization, has agreed to abide by the Board’s decision,” the organization said in a statement posted on Twitter.
