How Much Did The Atlanta Airport Power Outage Cost Delta?

Earlier this week the world's busiest airport, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson, experienced an 11-hour system outage, costing Delta Air Lines up to $50 million. The spokesman for the carrier said it plans to seek compensation for its losses. Because of the system failure, Delta was forced to cancel some 1,400 flights, striking at the one of the busiest travel times of the year as the winter holiday season approaches.
