Power Outage At Atlanta Airport Last 11 Hours

Airports are filled with thousands of travelers during the holiday season. Unfortunately for travelers at the Atlanta airport this Sunday, December 17th, over 1,000 flights were canceled after a power outage forced several passengers to sit in dark terminals. The power outage lasted a total of 11 hours before it was resolved. According to Georgia Power, the power outage was caused by a fired in an underground facility.
