Reforms to be made to 'out-of-date' sex education

Reforms are to be made to relationships and sex education (RSE) in schools across England. The government is asking parents, teachers and young people to help shape a new RSE curriculum that will help them stay safe and face the challenges of the modern world. Education Secretary Justine Greening MP said the world has changed a lot since the guidance on RSE was last set in 2000, with cyber bullying, inappropriate material on the internet and sexting being some of the risks that children and young people face.
