Pentagon admits it had a UFO program, claims it ended in 2012

The Pentagon said on Saturday that it’s long secret UFO investigation program ended in 2012 due to “higher priority issues that merited funding.” The program which was tasked with investigating Unidentified Flying Objects or UFO’s, operated from 2007 until 2012 and had 22 million in annual funding. The founding of the project came largely at the request of Harry Reid, a former democrat senate leader who is known for his UFO enthusiasm.
