Comedian Louis C.K. admits sexual misconduct claims are true

US comedian Louis C.K. has admitted that allegations of sexual misconduct made against him by five wormen are true.
He released a long statement acknowledging the encounters in question which date back 15 years. They were detailed by the women in the New York Times.
The Emmy-winning star, 50, said in his statement that he has “been remorseful of my actions. And I’ve tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions. I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves”.

The comedian’s publicist, Lewis Kay, announced on Twitter that “as of today, I no longer represent Louis C.K.”
