I am an eighteen year old singer-songwriter from Schull, a small rural village by the sea in West Cork, Ireland. I have been playing the piano for about 10 years and began writing my own songs when I was 12 years old. Much of my inspiration came from Ben Howard. My brother showed me one of his songs and I fell in love straight away. Ben Howard is such a musical genius! Both my brothers have also influenced my music. They discover new cool artists all the time and help me to improve my songs in any way they think works better.
I have entered a few different talent competitions in the past and won Mizen’s Got Talent in 2012 and was chosen to play in Dublin for The YouBloom Festival where I was acclaimed best new artist from well known songwriter Alex Van Soos.
I have worked with a lyricist, adding vocals and melody but I write most of my own material which I hope to produce into an album in the near future.
