Acoustic country-punk-folk with bass and blues harps:
NAPAEA is the folk-pop project of young Austrian singer/songwriter Katharina Milchrahm, who addresses typical songwriter-topics with an astonishing, grounded soul voice and brisk folk-pop. Using a broad range of dynamics, NAPAEA tells her listeners about home and wanderlust and growing up in small villages.
Usually NAPAEA is accompanied by blues harps and an acoustic bass (sometimes also a violin), which gives her music it's unique sound by combining elements of Folk, Punk and Bluegrass.
During their young career they already supported and played with bands/musicians like Wallis Bird, PJ Bond and Big Eyes among others.
In 2016 NAPAEA released their first 7-song EP over their own label Singing Sailorman Records."
