Gaspard Sommer est un musicien et compositeur Genevois. Il a commencé son parcours musical par la batterie et le piano, puis c’est sur la programmation et le chant qu’il se penche, toujours en autodidacte. Ce n’est que quelques années plus tard qu’il commence le conservatoire populaire de Genève et l’AMR, là ou il étudie le chant jazz pendant 4 ans avec Christine Schaller. Il y suit également des cours de composition avec Arturo Corrales et Ohad Talmor. Depuis 2015, il étudie le chant à la haute école de musique de Lausanne avec Susanne Abbuehl.
À côté de cette formation jazz, il compose également pour différents projets, des musiques à l’image ainsi que pour un certain nombre d’autres artistes.
En 2012 il a sorti un album appelé «Nebula». En 2016 il a sorti un autre album appelé «Looping», produit en collaboration avec «La Pièce».
Gaspard Sommer is a musician and composer from Geneva. He takes us in his fantastic world of soul ambiant jazz music with an extraordinary voice. This musicien has a great carrier in front of him. First he began his musical career with the drums and the piano, then it is on the programming and the voice that he leans, always self-taught. It was only a few years later that he began the Geneva Conservatory and the AMR, where he studied jazz for four years with Christine Schaller. He also studied composition with Arturo Corrales and Ohad Talmor. Since 2015, he studied voice at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne with Susanne Abbuehl.
Besides this jazz training, he also composed for various projects, soundtrack as well as for a number of other artists.
