He said test cricket is struggling hard to keep its self alive, hence it is needed to be think about day-night test match. Ganguly says day night test cricket in inevitable. Along with this he also appreciated hit man Rohit Sharma for his inning in the 2nd ODI. He said its always good to see Rohit playing and hitting the ball. पूर्व कप्तान सौरव गांगुली ने टेस्ट क्रिकेट पर बात करते हुए एक बयान दिया और कहा कि अब जहाँ टेस्ट क्रिकेट अपने अस्तित्व को बचाने के लिए लड़ाई लड़ रही है, ऐसे में ज़रूरी है कि टेस्ट क्रिकेट को डे-नाईट फॉर्मेट में खेला ही जाए. गांगुली ने कहा कि अगर यह अभी नहीं होता है तो कभी ज़रूर होगा लेकिन निश्चित ही टेस्ट क्रिकेट का समय बदलना पड़ेगा. इसके अलावा बातचीत के दौरान गांगुली ने रोहित शर्मा की भी जमकर तारीफ़ की है.
