Indonesia withdraws 30% limit on foreign ownership

Malaysian plantation owners in Indonesia concerns on ownership have been allayed following a report that the authorities have agreed to withdraw a cap on foreign ownership at no more than 30 per cent. Indonesia's news agency Kontan reported Thatthe draft bill has been scrapped in the final discussion as it would hurt the business climate for plantation firms and growers.
