There is some graphic footage at the start of this video.* Today around 3 PM, Sayfullo Saipov drove a rented Home Depot truck onto the west side highway bike path in Tribeca, killing 8 and injuring 11. He was stopped by police who shot him in the abdomen when he exited the vehicle. As of this evening, he is listed as critical in a nearby hospital. The NYC Mayor is calling this a terrorist attack.
