Democratic congressman John Conyers who has been accused of making unwanted sexual advances towards women who have worked for him is facing increasing pressure to resign. The latest accusation was reported by the Detroit News. The report cited a former staffer who said that Conyers had sexually harassed her three times between 1997 and 1999. The No. 2 democrat in the House of Representatives has said that he should step down if the allegations against him were true.
