Matt Lauer Fired Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegation

Matt Lauer has been fired from NBC amid sexual misconduct allegations.
That’s right, the newsman has been axed from his Today show duties after NBC News received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace, and as a result, NBC News chariman Andrew Lack decided to terminate his employment.
It is the first complaint about the 59 year old the network has ever received, but Lack said in an email to his employees that at the present there is reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.
Savannah Guthrie revealed the news to fans of the Today show, saying they are devastated and heartbroken, and it appeared the rest of Matt’s former co-workers held back tears.
It is not yet known what the allegations entail, but alleged assault back in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.
Matt has yet to release a statement.
