Trump On CNN's Boycott Of WH Christmas Party: 'We Should Boycott Fake News CNN'

President Trump posted his response after CNN announced that it'd be boycotting this year's White House Christmas party.
President Trump on Wednesday proposed boycotting CNN after the network announced it would boycott this year's White House Christmas party.
"Great, and we should boycott Fake News CNN. Dealing with them is a total waste of time!" Trump wrote in a tweet.
The president, in his message, referred to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders' tweet, which read, "Christmas comes early! Finally, good news from @CNN."
CNN made the announcement regarding its participation in a statement issued to Politico.
"In light of the President's continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN, we do not feel it is appropriate to celebrate with him as his invited guests," a CNN spokesperson said. "We will send a White House reporting team to the event and report on it if news warrants."
