MSF Aid Flight Takes Off to Sanaa After Lifting of Blockade

A flight from Doctors Without Borders took off from Djibouti to Yemen on November 28, one of the first flights to Yemen since the imposition of a Saudi-led blockade three weeks prior.This footage shows a plane with MSF branding taking off from the international airport in Djibouti, the organization said.Flights carrying aid from other international humanitarian organizations arrived in Sanaa on November 25, local news outlets said.The United Nations said the blockade of Yemen’s air and sea ports, which began on November 6, had prevented “361 tons of medicines and medical supplies” waiting at the Djibouti airport from being delivered.Saudi Arabia imposed the blockade after Houthi forces launched missiles at the airport in Riyadh on November 4.
