In Morocco, the commune is a territorial authority governed by public law, endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy. As part of the decentralization of the country, municipalities are grouped within prefectures or provinces themselves grouped within regions. Their number is 1,538 (256 urban and 1,282 rural communes). Current legal provisions concerning them are defined by Title IX of the Constitution of 2011 and the Organic Law no 113-14 promulgated by Dahir no 1-15-85 of July 7 , 2015.
Ait Faska is a common rural of the province of Al Haouz , in the region of Marrakech Tensift Al Haouz , in Morocco. It does not have an urban center. Its chief town is a village of the same name. The rural commune of Ait Faska is located within the caïdat of Faska Sidi Daoud, itself located within the circle of Aït Ourir. Aït Ourir is a city in Morocco. It is located in the region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz. Ait-ourir is on the foot of the Atlas at 37km from Marrakech AND 110KM from Ouazazate. It was born about two hundred years ago it was only a small village of peasants. It is at the crossroads of Marrakech Ouarzazate and Beni-mellal. The largest souk in the region is Tuesday. All the farmers, early growers, and simple salesmen, find themselves there. There are factories where the oil of Ait-urir is crushed. Otherwise there is a lot of small business and bigger.
The caidat of Ait Ourir, created in 1973, is one of the first 355 caidats that were formed during the appearance of caidats in Morocco. The caidat was in the circle of Ait Ourir, under the province of Marrakech. He counted on his creation a commune.
In 1982, the caidat was populated by 34,721 inhabitants. In 1992, the communes of Aït Sidi Daoud and Aït Faska are created from the rural territory of the commune of Aït Ourir, become Center Autonome.
Two months later, in September 1992, the caidat is finally eliminated and replaced by the caidate of Faska Sidi Daoud, date when Ait Ourir becomes a municipality. The new caidat is composed of the communes of Aït Sidi Daoud and Aït Faska. The number of population in Ait Ourir community is 39 108 while the Ait Faska community is 26 210.

16 local communities. They are: Ait Vaska, Sidi Daoud, Tamzuzet, Sidi Ghayat, Agamat, Averfouanen, Tidili Musfoua, Tghadouine, Tamakrat, Toumah, Zarqatin, Et Aadel, Et Haqim.
Most of these groups were established with the beginning of the 1960s during the start of the experience of the local communities in Morocco, and the rest saw the light with the last administrative division of 1992.
