Rajasthan State Commission for Women chairperson Suman Sharma has requested the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to allow the presence of Rajput leaders for the screening of Padmavati at the time of certification. The Rajasthan State Commission for Women (RSCW) wrote to the censor board asking it to clear the “ambiguity” over the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film “in the interest of law and order”. Sharma said that Supreme Court has also left the decision on the censor board and that needed to be done soon.
