WH Economic Adviser: Wealthy Could Get Tax Cut

Gary Cohn, the Chief White House economic advisor, admitted that the wealthy could receive a tax cut under the proposed GOP plan. Cohn made the remarks on Thursday during an interview with CNBC's John Harwood. While he didn't go so far as stating that the plan was aimed at helping wealthy citizens, his admission is a sharp contrast from remarks he made just six weeks ago. As Business Insider reports, Cohn had previously said that the wealthy would not be getting a tax break under the plan.
