Connecticut Woman Dragged 15 Feet During Carjacking at Gas Station

A Connecticut woman trying to prevent a man from stealing her car was dragged 15 feet after opening the driver’s side door and struggling with the carjacker.The incident happened at a gas station in Windsor Locks, located just north of Hartford. The 34-year-old had parked her car next to a convenience store and went in to make a purchase, but ran out when she saw a male get into her vehicle. She opened the driver’s door and held on to stop him from closing it. The suspect then accelerated the car, dragging her 15 feet until the momentum forced her to let go, according to the police department.The suspect was described to have worn a black sweatshirt and jeans.
