On Demonetisation Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi struck a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul accused the PM of destroying the country's economic power on PM Modi and hurting the youth due to unemployment and turning the anger into a "communal hatred" to harm the country. Rahul said that because of the demonetyisation, India's GDP was reduced by 2%, the unorganized labor sector was devastated and many small and medium businesses were closed. Rahul Gandhi alleges that Prime Minister Modi has eradicated faith from the economy of a once-flowing economy with its decision.

नोटबंदी के एक साल होने के मौके पर कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर करारा प्रहार किया. राहुल ने पीएम मोदी पर देश की आर्थिक ताकत बिगाड़ने और बेरोजगारी के कारण युवाओं में भड़के गुस्से को 'सांप्रदायिक नफरत' में बदलकर देश को नुकसान पहुंचाने का आरोप लगाया. राहुल ने कहा कि नोटबंदी के कारण भारत की जीडीपी 2% घट गई, असंगठित श्रम क्षेत्र तबाह हो गया और कई छोटे व मझोले कारोबार बंद हो गए. राहुल गांधी ने आरोप लगाया कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अपने इस फैसले से एक समय फूल-फल रही अर्थव्यवस्था के प्रति विश्वास का सफाया कर दिया है.
