Generators Connected to Puerto Rico's Power Grid Near San Juan

US Army Corps of Engineers integrated two generators with electrical grid at the Palo Seco power plant near San Juan, Puerto Rico, late on the night of October 29.The generators, part of a $35.1 million contract, awarded by the US Army Corps of Engineers to Weston Solutions, currently provide about 30 megawatts to the Puerto Rico electrical grid with the ability to provide up 50 megawatts if required.
