Bird of prey fights snake in Mexico

A video has emerged from Mexico of a bird of prey fighting a snake in San Pedro de la Cueva.
In the clip, which was filmed earlier this week, the bird lies on the ground with the snake in its talons but appears itself to be injured.
After a few moments the bird flaps away.
"We watched the Mexican flag live," the filmer wrote online.
