Saudi schools may vet teachings of prophet Muhammad

An unprecedented decision is being considered for Saudi Arabian schools. Saudi authorities aim to combat Islamic extremism by possibly vetting teachings of the prophet Muhammad. The plan is to root out and 'eliminate fake and extremist texts' and make The King Salman Complex a “trusted source of the correct and authenticate [sic] hadith” Texts to be excluded would have to "justify the committing of crimes, murders and terrorist acts which have no place in Islam, the religion of peace."
