Hurricane wreaks havoc in Poland
At least two people died and many more were injured including eight firefighters as hurricane force winds and rain lashed Western Poland.

Fires services were on high alert intervening over 11,000 times to remove felled trees, repair storm-damaged roofs and clear the streets.

The storm produced winds of between 80-100 kilometres per hour.

Some eight thousand households are still without electricity.

The same storm hit northern and eastern Germany on Thursday killing seven people.
