Climber Captures Successive Rockfalls at Yosemite's El Capitan

One person was killed and another injured in a rockslide on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, California, on Wednesday, September 27.Climber Peter Zabrok captured this video of two of the seven rockslides, one of which resulted in the death of Andrew Forster and the injury of his wife, according to park officials.According to The Guardian, Forster and his wife Lucy were climbing adventuring as part of their wedding anniversary celebrations.Yosemite National Park said about 1,300 tons had fallen following seven rockfalls across a four-hour period.
