Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated yearly on 2 October. It is one of the three official declared national holidays of India, observed in all of its states and union territories. Gandhi Jayanti is marked by prayer services and tributes all over India, Gandhi's memorial in New Delhi where he was cremated.
ప్రతీ ఏటా అక్టోబరు 2 ను మనం గాంధీ జయంతి గా జరుపుకుంటాం. ఈ రోజు మన జాతిపిత మహాత్మా గాంధీ జన్మదినం. 15 జూన్ 2007 న ఐక్య రాజ్య సమితికి చెందిన సాధారణ సభ అక్టోబరు 2ను "ప్రపంచ అహింసా దినం"గా ప్రకటించింది.
