You can use any based spirit in a flip but it comes together especially well using a rich brown spirit or something full of spice and a bit of sweetness like Drambuie. Add Drambuie and Sherry to egg then pour into a metal tin. Dry shake (without ice) in a two part metal shaker. Pour mixture back into the mixing glass, add ice and shake to chill and dilute.
