Latin America Tour: Putin meets revolutionary leader Fidel Castro
  • 7 years ago
Vladimir Putin is heading for his maiden visit to Argentina. It will be the president's third stop on his week-long tour of Latin America. He's already been to Nicaragua and Cuba where there was plenty to discuss with Havana's current leader Raul Castro and also his older brother Fidel. The tour will culminate in Brazil where the president will take part in the 6th annual BRICS summit. Political analyst Adrian Salbuchi believes the 5 nation group is not only of economic importance, but also geopolitical. RT's Aleksey Yaroshevsky explains further.
