Footage has emerged from the UK of massive queues on the M1 motorway after a suspicious object was found under a bridge.

According to reports, the road is closed motorway between Milton Keynes and Northampton as police and fire services investigate.

Thames Valley Police tweeted this morning: "M1 currently closed in both directions between junction 15 and 14. Motorists urged to avoid the area at this time."
