Elephant Stuck In Mud Saved By Indian Villagers

How does an elephant make it out of the mud? It gets by with a little help from its friends.
Locals near Kochi, India, recently saved an elephant from being trapped in a large mud swamp. The elephant was being transported to a parade when it escaped and got stuck. Because heavy equipment couldn't reach the area, 200 locals jumped in to help. They proceeded to fill the swamp with hundreds of bags of sand until they were eventually able to haul the elephant out.
That's one event this elephant will never forget.
