Bhuna Mutton Recipe cooked in Desi Village

Ingredients for Bhuna Gosht Recipe\r

Mutton cut into 1½ inch pieces on the bone 500 grams\r

Bay Leaf 2-3\r
Cinnamon 1-2\r
Black cardamoms 2\r
Black peppercorns 10-12\r
Cloves 5-6\r
Mace 1\r
Star Anise 1 \r
Oil 2 cup\r
Onions chopped 4 large\r
Green Chilly 2-3\r
Garlic paste 2 tablespoons\r
Ginger paste 1 tablespoon\r
Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon\r
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon\r
Coriander powder 2 tablespoons\r
Salt to taste\r
Yogurt whisked 1 cup\r
Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons\r

Method\r

Step 1 \r
\r
Sauté Bay Leaf, Cinnamon, Black cardamoms, Black peppercorns, Cloves and make dry Powder of it called Pisa Garam Masala .\r

Heat oil in a Thick base pan. Add crushed/chopped Onions, Green Chilly and saute until golden brown.\r

Add garlic paste and ginger paste and sauté for 2 minute.\r

Add mutton pieces and sauté till light brown. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Garam Masala Powder and salt and mix well.\r

Add yogurt and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 30-35 minutes.\r

Step 6\r
\r
Add Some water, mix well, cover and cook on low heat for ½ hour or till mutton is tender.\r

Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves and Garam Masala Powder.
