Dan Rather Says Trump Is ‘Seized With Fear’ As ‘Hurricane Vladimir’ Intensifies

Veteran journalist Dan Rather has likened President Trump’s Russia problems to a hurricane that is “building in intensity.”
In a Wednesday appearance on MSNBC’s ‘All In With Chris Hayes,’ Rather made note of Trump’s “chaotic, unsteady start.”
He then commented, “Donald Trump is afraid...of something" that special counsel Robert Mueller and others investigating Russia's role in the 2016 election and potential ties with the Trump campaign are going to find out.
Rather continued, “What you’re seeing time after time is a president who is, within himself, seized with fear. [There is] a political hurricane out there at sea for him — we’ll call it Hurricane Vladimir. It’s still pretty far out at sea, but each day…it’s building in intensity.”
Information regarding alleged associations between Russia and the Trump campaign is, indeed, mounting at an often frenzied pace.
Among the recent revelations is the New York Times’ acquisition of a letter written to Congress on behalf of Trump lawyer Michael D. Cohen.
The Times reports, it contains a “point-by-point rebuttal of a dossier alleging that he has deep ties to Russian officials — an effort to clear his name as the Justice Department and congressional committees investigate Russia’s attempts to disrupt last year’s election.”
