Scientology Wanted Leah Remini to Convert Kevin James

Leah Remini spent 9 seasons filming The King of Queens with Kevin James… and she said the Church of Scientology wanted her to convert him.
The actress spoke to People Magazine and revealed that her former church kept asking why he wasn’t in… and she told them it’s because he’s Catholic and wants nothing to do with it.
She added that they let it go after a while, but usually you’d be expected to recruit, especially with somebody you work with.
But as you already know – it never happened… and in 2013, Leah abruptly left the Church of Scientologists after 30 years.
She says she’s finally at peace knowing who she is and who she wants to be… and she just wants to be happy and help people.
Her docu-series about the religion is in its second season and has been nominated for an Emmy.
